Name Check: Urbanfoto gets blinded by the spotlight on Randy Morin's blog [iBLOGthere4iM] jUSTINYC has a lot of respect for this geek/dad/blogger/web guy...he's a really innovative fella and solely responsible for a LOT of what is happening on the net today. Randy is the creator of Rmail, TheRSSBlog and the kbcafe search tool [as seen in top right corner of this blog]. In fact, Randy helped the LOFTNINJA actually create the option in NINJALISTINGS that allows space seekers to have new listings send to their email or cellphone via RSS feed as soon as they become available. This was HUGE! At the time, there was no such tool available and LOFTNINJA became the first real estate blogger to syndicate listings in this manner. It enabled the homeless/spaceless to be notified about new space instantly- in NYC, this is almost a necessity. Next, LN began to podcast his listings so that nestseekers could listen to new listings on thier ipod. When you're underground in the subway (and can't recieve text messages), this method makes up for what may be missed during the commute. Other forms of podcasting by real estate agents can now be utilized on the net, but don't be fooled- the NINJA was first. If used wisely, this type of innovation will change the way real estate is advertised, forever.
